NIHR HSDR Evidence Synthesis Teams and Rapid Evaluation Teams

This dataset contains information on the projects conducted by the NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme’s Evidence Synthesis Teams, Rapid Evaluation Teams and National Evaluation Teams.

Evidence Synthesis Teams provide timely and contextualised access to the best research evidence on topics of key importance to health and social care organisations such as the NHS. Their work mainly consists of scoping reviews, rapid reviews, systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis methods.

Rapid Evaluation Teams deploy rapidly to conduct evaluations of health and social care service innovations over a short period of time (usually 6 to 12 months). National Evaluation Teams deploy in a similar way but conduct evaluations over 1-3 years.

This dataset will be updated every six months, and the data in this edition is accurate as of April 2025.
